Careful while in DL.... All ours start at $107.50, speeding(paid), exhibition(gonna fight that one), etc. And make sure you have insurance with you, they get angry about that.

Yeah, the fines in MN really suck... I got a ticket a couple years ago and just about crapped when i found out what the fine was. I guess they have to pay for their left wing programs somehow.
Yeah the republican governor is causing the state to shut down... Good thing the trip to canada isnt going through MN... no rest areas.
I have a street racing ticket from ND that cost $300... insurance still doesnt know about it.

the good thing about 10mph and under is that it doesnt affect your record at allgot me too, near devils lake hi-po, cost me under 30 and he scratched my car, if I see him agian I'm gonna make sure to complain. I sent something in before and no answer. It's also on my record.

105 min on the interstate? I love goin 85 in a 70

I wish I still had my moorhead ticket, but I remember that they start at 110$ there and go up in unit's of ten. MN changed the law acouple years back so that counties can set ticket prices it's not up to the state anymore thats why they went up so much, my 9mph over cost me more then my 28 mph in ND just doesn't add up I think

I beg to differ......it went on my record. 2 of them to be exact.weird...cause ive gotten one in minnesota and he specifically knocked it down to a 65 in a 55 so it wouldnt show on my record and the one i got in devils lake was 0 points which means its not on my record either

i got a $14 ticket for speeding on I-29. i dont think it was worth it for him to even pull me over.
-
yeah, i was coming into dilworth (slowing down from 65) and entering the 30 mph zone when i got pulled over for going 40. $115 ticket
-
yeah when i got mine he said my insurance company wasnt able to see it either. 4 months later i get a nice letter telling me my rates went up because of it. ANYTHING can be traced, it just depends on how in depth they decide to search, and if they do it themselves or have a 3rd party do it (state farm has a 3rd party look into it, at least they did with mine).
I was also told recently by my manager that supposedly in MN it is now against the "rules" or whatever to ask for proof on insurance? I dont see how that makes any sense but just wondering if anyone else has heard that.

i got a ticket on i29 goin south by the i94 exit...didnt realize how fast i was going, but apparently i was goin 77 in a 55...he took me for every mph (i was hoping he'd lower it 3mph to 74, so that itd only be 3 pts instead of 5 pts...nope)...it was like 30 bux...its not the fine that bugged me, it was the pts...also, i took defensive driving w/in 30 days of the ticket so i could get the 5pts from the ticket removed. apparently you have to tell the judge that you are going to do that in leu of the pts. on the ticket before you go to the class...i also took the course before the cancellation date (i had 1 pt. on my licience i had NO CLUE ABOUT!)...so i did all in my power to help the situation, only to be taken to the cleaners. also, when i talked to the hearing officier, he totally AGREED with everything i said, but in his letter to bismark he said that i diserved to have my licience taken away.....the whole situation is TOTAL BULLSHIT...in the words of system of a down "FUCK THE SYSTEM"
