that is common sence...but i've seen cases where a place(valley Imports) didnt have that posted...and they ended up paying for the stolen shit.

Under ND state law, the only time it is the business owners responsibility is if you are paying specifically for them to store your car for you. If you are not paying for this service then it is not their responsibility. Period. I'm not trying to sound like a dick here, I know it sucks bad when shit like that happens and I do feel for ya, however the law is the law (you can look it up in the ND Century Code...I forget which volume its in, used to know) and under the current circumstances SLS is not responsible for vehicle theft/vandalism for any car that is left unattended in their parking lot unless said vehicle is paying rent for storage space in said lot as then the business owner would be in fact providing that service to you.
