I mean really what is the situation with the gov't and them? Are they considered political refugees or something because then I believe they are given 7 years TAX-FREE status. If anyone has info on this situation please enlighten us rather than spread ignorance.

I would also like to know how they can afford all these high end cars (meaning all the damn M3's and other bmw's they drive around) It just doesnt make sense. where do they all work? most of them are in places like McDonalds and crap, and htere is no way you can afford an M3 working at McDonalds.
Maybe it works like it does in FLorida or cali. A bunch of immigrants live in a one bedroom shit hole, they all pool their money and buy an exotic and take turns driving it. Id still rather drive my lil ole datsun that do that.
oh, and if they do get 7 years tax free status, fuck that.

I think it is time that a bunch of us send letters to Lutheran Social Services asking them why in the hell they just dump a bunch of immigrants off in this country with no plan for them to make anything of themselves. I'm all for coming to this country as an opportunity for a better life.....so long as you work towards having a better life. My plan: Give them 6 months to find a job and start weening them off the system. If they can't make it after 6 months, cut their welfare in half but send them to a 2 year school in which they'd be required to maintain a C or better average. If for any 2 semesters they fail to attain the C average they get deported.

And for the record, I have nothing against any race, it just bugs me when they abuse the system. Like ichibahnkilla said, I'm only a 3rd generation american, my grandparents/great grandparents came here from Germany/Russia in the early 1900's....they didn't get a whole lot of help, just directions on how to get to ND from NY...

Actually, they as with all imigrants get to live income tax-free for ten fuckin years. And yes the bosnians used to be real bad here in Fergus. But they all got ran out of town. Now the Somolians are the real nuicance in town. You know it's bad when Mexicans hate you because your lazy.

There were a couple of somolians that went to FFCC and I had one as a roommate. He wasn't that bad compared to my roomies last year. One of the somolians had a 99+ Tahoe sitting on 20+ rims. Jeez how can a college student pay for that w/o a job?

IMHO, we should be questioning our fearless government's grant system. People make it their careers to get these grants. These grants are awarded to 'causes' that promote the greater good and whatnot... While this is all fine and good, I think the people that get these grants are more concerned with their cut of the money rather than than the whole point of the grant in the first place. They run a poorly managed operation and hire a shit staff. I mean when you are keeping your headcount costs to a minimum, you don't want to pay more than absolutely necessary. So you end up with overworked or unexperienced case workers, poorly developed or nonexistant start-up programs and a pile of immigrants that could be better contributors but aren't.
If you ever read a proposal that was granted an award, try to find mention of the people-management proficiencies and employee health index surveys. I'm sure there are some truely good programs and people getting these grants, but there are way too many that get them and have no business getting a dime.
Not taking away from the really, REALLY dangerous manuvering that I see just about once a week on the roads and highways... because I see that shit and it takes everything I have not to try to inflict some vigilante justice.
