yeah i did when it was in NY cause i guess it was unplugged...is that right that it doesnt run with it unplugged? i know my DSM would run without it...

bump...the car revs normally with the MAF unplugged...only supposed to rev to 2500...my IACV is completely unhooked so do i actually need it or not? Something with ECU or wiring...the harness was done by wiring specialties so it wasnt a homemade job...im thinkin it might be somethin with the AFC since im sure that was done himself...

i took the iacv thing off of my car and it runs fine after you let it idle for a while

Yup...just looked at the maf tonight...thought it was wired wrong...now i think its right but hmm maybe its a bad maf?

i sort off ordered a clip and then canceled before final payemnt. figured there was cheaper ways to make equal or more power.

you get it running good? was just driving nice and i knew the motor had problems a.k.a. a lower end knock but it wasn't that bad, thats how i got the car for $400, and boom there goes the motor now i get to pull it out and see what was wrong with it and then sell it. just need next motor ka24de.

not 100% sure on next move as far at motor. i can get a complete ca18det swap minus an intercooler (but that not a problem) for $900. or im thinking of ka24det but just have to find a motor that the seller is not a idiot and knows how to ship. 240 parts in this area are just hard to find

I'm telling you man, depening on how cheap tou wanna go..........i can get you 2 ka24e's, and you could build a good one...........or if you can find a buyer for the Blue Car, then i can sell you the motor out of the Black Car............
