yeah the defense won the game for us...johnson did not look very good except for the last drive...
actually, our special teams played a bigger part. but darren sharper played awesome(thanks packer fans for lettin him go)but ben roethlisberger wasnt puttin up great stats as a rookie but they continued to win games.
any 2 game winningstreak for the vikings is considered a miracle so there must be somethin about johnson starting and not culpepper that the players want to play with more fire, thus winning more

the defense was damn near out on the field the whole game....the offense was always pulling 3 and outs and short ass drives...im surprised the defense wasnt just beat and tired by the end of the game...thats why i say give the defense credit for the win...

What'd he do? Our offense only scored 3 points and didn't look impressive
Defense for teh win!No question the defense won the game for us...
But as far as what did Johnson do?? He didn't turn the ball over. 0 ints for Johnson so far. 12 ints for Culpepper that go along with only 6 TDs. He also had about 6 fumbles if I remember correctly. Ints turn into points for the other team, as you can see from Eli's bad day, and Culpepper was losing games for us this season from his turnovers. -

Great points. But I think too many people are jumping on Daunte as being the SOLE problem and jumping to call for his head. The line has been protecting Brad much better than Daunte. Daunte was sacked over 6 times a game, and hurried on almost every pass play. Brad has been sacked 3 times a game and has had time to read the field. We haven't seen Brad run for his life much, so IMO....
Daunte > Brad -
I think it is the best thing that happened to the Vikes when Daunte got hurt. He wasn't playing well at all, and was brining the team down with him. Yeah, you can't blame everything on him, but I really think it helped bring up the team's moral to get someone else in there.

read the field? brads a 3 step qb and has been his full career. he's never been a 5 step drop, look down field and bomb it for 60 yards, hes the lil dinky 12 yard completions, an occasional 20 yarder, back to 12 then below 10 yards per pass. Both games he's started he's avgd under 10 yards a completion, so it's not the line that's helping brad, it's his style of play. Personally i feel now that we're 9 games in, Daunte doesn't fit this system that our offensive coordinator/tice has installed. He doesnt look comfortable at all, and without a nice target out there to spot, he's been exposed that if you give him pressure, he'll choke the chicken.

Brad > Daunte Anyday i think...
but half of its the o-lines fault...what did they have 130 yrs on offense total yesterday??
owell atleast they are on a winning streak!

True, but the QB is the leader on the field. Without a QB you have no team.Without offensive linemans you have no QB
