Any more info on this shop??I guess BTP is going out of bizz after 30 years.... WTF
I have no idea why.
I know nothing of this new shop, but BTP (bell trans products) is NOT going out of business, thinking about going out of business, or being pressured into going out of business. You need to be careful about making assumptions such as this. Their business will be affected very little by any new facility there, I would suspect.

There customer base is none of the people i have talked to, I didnt say for sure they where and i was wondering why, not knowing the full story.Ive been a long time customer of there shop over 7 years and over 15g of work they have done on my vehicles..
They are known and have there large customer base very secure around here and do work no one else attempts to do nor can do in Bismarck.. Also alot of the midwest drag cars. I can personally email them and get the real deal. Im not felling im a threat to there shop in away by what i said. I know them as friends first and then as a great shop. I know my good buddy kelsey who has worked for them for the last 11 years had just been laid off from there shop.. There main tranny man. Due to lack of tranny work. So all in all im not just an outsider trying to start rumors. I dont feel there shop will be threatend by a smaller shop or shops. I do NOT know of any local shops who can even come close or compair to the quality of there work. You can quote me on that! You can take my name to them and tell them that.
Winter season can always be hard on a summer income based race shop.

I had kind of heard something before also. It happens those guys are not that young anymore and if no one is there to take over then door close. Not saying they are just in general. Sometimes lack of business has nothing to do with it. And a smaller shop doing different things is not going to affect there business. They do alot of one off stuff, work that no one else will and build and rebuild transmissions for consumers and racers. They have a solid foundation and a new shop with a dyno is not going to affect them.
Oh and I sent you a PM another forum.

JJ and Josh are Johns sons, Josh is around 27 and JJ is about 35 or so ha ha..
Has to do nothing with them getting to old..To continue on with the convo..
This is the truck they have been building for me, a custom bagged 4x4 truck with a Procharger Supercharter, the first stage of the truck was finished this last spring.
The truck is set to go in this spring/summer for a built up motor, built tranny, and 4 link if my finance situation goes as i want.. Again im not out of the loop of this shop, again i know them well..

Oh and the sticker looks like BII9. j/K
You do have a pro charger correct, I assume you have a P1SC with a 2core or do you have the p600? Are you still converting your front end also?

Not converting the front end, waste of money... I have the Procharger yes P1SC with a 2 core, street version.

Have you done any tuning on a dyno with it anywhere?NO.
There is no reason to. Being the motor still needs to be built along with the tranny and the rear end and the 4link rear sus setup/ minitub... That air bags are coming off soon. Its gonna be a full coilover setup in the rear, and i still have yet what to do with the front in order to run a race/launch spring......
Its 60% finished... No need for tuning at this point in time.

I was just trying to prove my point by stating im not trying to slander a shop online.
By showing how much i have worked with them.
