          The key is that he still did the most important thing in any paint job. He prepped/wetsanded the surface between coats and seemed to have a well smoothed body prior. He definately spent alot of time making sure we wouldn't have to spend money. I agree that it does look good from the pics. I would still like to see it in person though. Pics can hide alot. As thrifty (cheap) as I can be...... There's just no way I would do what he did. Sometimes time is worth the extra money. At least to me.

                lol there is a red EF that is getting that kind of a paint job right now.

                Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                Diesel repairs or performance products.

                                  Thats sweet i probibly could spend the time to do it if I could let the cars sit for a while. We have this new laquer stuff call the paint shop, its made by duplicolor and is supposed to be easier and almost as cheap as that.

                                      I should use my bonneville as a test subject for something like this. I angle grind, sand, rust destroy, rust convert, and then duplicolor spraypaint it every fall just so it's semi presentable over winter. $400 cars FTW
