    1. I was wondering if I would be able to switch my civic to a cable transmission, as I have lined up a B series LS swap, but I am in need of a transmission.

    2. My car backfires really badly shortly after I reach the point where my v-tec should kick in....was wondering what that could be?

It is probably low on Vtec fluid so the actuator isn't priming.

          1. yes, i believe you shouldn't have a problem with going to a cable.

          2. many things from bad valves, carboned up valves/intake, lean condtions, rich conditions...etc etc....but, if you are swapping to a b series, you shouldn't have that problem anymore, unless this motor you are swapping backfires.
