Hey Jerry, this is Blake.... Troy's buddy that used to be over at the store every once in a while. I'm looking into an RX-7 as my next car, and I had a couple questions for ya, as a past owner.... either pm me, or email me at [email protected].

I'll definitely be looking for an FD.... preferably 94, as I would rather have as new of one as I can. I'm looking either semi-low mileage, or recently rebuilt, so that I can spend some time learning the car before I start modding too heavily. Do you have any suggestions as far as trim packages, or things to look for when I get more into it?

well you want low milage or new motor already installed because out of all the rx7s the 3rd gen has the smallest engine bays and produce the most heat (I.e) twin turbo so around 80 to 90 k they start to go out.....either packege is cool the r1 or r2 both have same power just handle diff and have diff radio and spoliers.. i reck. not getting a 93 lotta bugs in those since that was the first year lotta recalls for squeeks and stupid shit like that......other than that they are the best handling car i ve ever driven (even better than the s2000)but yea they are fun ass cars responed awsome to upgrades if you get the racingbeat exhaust 3inch and presilencer they make 59 hp thats crazy.......also if you dont wanna get a third gen the 1991 were pretty cool 200hp more reliable way cheaper too either way they are both pretty badass

yeah the intercooler and the radiator form a V...i believe its only possible on the RX7 because of the smaller rotary...basically it removes the loss of cooling efficiency that occurs when you add a large FMIC...i know ive seen it a few times...once i know was in super street but ive seen it elsewhere too

i've also heard it may cost up to $4,000 just to do that, but it would still be cool to do that
-
i'm not sure, i think it must be all the modifying that has to be done.

you do not have to do that!
Have to...no. Does it look cool as hell when done right? absolutely
