Where can I connect the green signal wire on a tachometer to my EF civic? I know you can connect it to the dizzy but theres got to be a diagnostic port or something closer to connect it to.

That wire (B20) is listed as the Ignition Timing Adjusting Connector, is that the right one?

have you tried looking at the pin outputs from the links that i gave you on your other post about the mpfi? That may help you also. I know when i did mine in a ef i hooked it up to the tach signal wire on ecu, but that was like 5 years ago now and cant remember which one it was.

Yep, that was very helpfull. I think I am just going to use the tach signal wire on the cluster harness. Getting the cluster out isn't as much of a pain in the ass as I thought. Hopefully I will be getting a cluster with a tach soon but in the meantime it's an external tach for me (not the huge kind with the obnoxious shift light tho)

im watching a few on ebay now, hopefully something comes of it. i plan on being able to start the car tomorrow if my parts get here. i'll need to adjust the idle rpm and set the timing ( I fuckin forgot to mark the dizzy position when I took it off) so I'll need to have a tach connected.

yeah, I guess they are going at somewhat of a premium then, like 50-100 (no kidding 100) plus shipping. does anyone know if a 91 civic lx cluster will work plug and play? im sick of wiring for a week or two.
