I have Ron Paul lawn signs available at the shop. I have 15, so if you would like one or two to put out in front of your home/apartment/box, stop by the shop!

Good for you, and best of luck to your candidate! More people need to make commitments to do their part for this years election. It may be the most important election of our lives....seriously.

I think it's pretty much safe to say that if Hilary is elected, nobody wins. But that wasn't the point of this. The point is to get people motivated to get involved in the primaries. To get involved in the process. To get out and support the candidate that YOU think will be the best, regardless of if it is a win/lose situation. If you support a candidates ideas, but don't get out and actively support the candidate, you really can't complain when they don't win.

The media is doing a great job of NOT covering Ron Paul, despite the following....can you tell me....

*Why do active military personnel donate more money to Ron Paul than to any other GOP canditiate?

*Why are non-Americans around the world rallying for an American presidential candidate?

*How is a man the media ignores able to break fundraising records, raising millions on the internet?

*Why are hot chicks taking off their clothes to support a 72 year old politician?

Yet he gets skipped over even being mentioned by most of the networks....despite the fact that he has done fairly well in several of the primaries.

But maybe you are right DelSlow. Maybe we should all not vote, not get involved and not have any influence over the directions that our political leaders are taking us....seems like we (the young people of this country) have done this long enough already, and everything is going super smooth now...right?

I don't think he said anything like that, he just stated the obvious, that Paul isn't going to win. I think it's cool that you guys are getting out and being active in the process. But at some point you have to be realistic and decide who you are going to vote for that is on the ticket.

Perhaps, but until the election is held it is in the best interest of whoever you are supporting to get out there and participate. Paul has more than one option in this thing. He can continue to try and run as a Republican or, he can break away and run as a Libertarian, OR he can run as both. If he runs as a Libertarian (who he is endorsed by) he can automatically be registered in every state (I forget the wording, but because they are an established party they have the ability to put people on the ballots w/o the need to petition).

If he doesn't get on the ballot, then I'm going to have to get behind someone else. Right now, that person is likely to be Obama as he is the only candidate with a shot of winning that I don't hate.

Yep, it sucks when you don't have someone to vote "for" but are voting for the person you dislike the least.

To go along with what Chuck is saying, as Huckabee and Guiliani start running out of money, Ron Paul keeps obtaining money from donations. Guiliani is supposed to withdraw and endorse McCain in the next few days, and Huckabee is broke and after Super Tuesday if he doesn't do anything he will more than likely withdraw. Edwards is also either in the process of withdrawing or withdrawn. So after Super Tuesday the candidates will more than likely look like this:

Republicans:
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Ron Paul

Democrats:
Hilarious Clinton
Barack Obama

Personally, I don't think America will vote a woman or an African American into office.... Not that I have anything against either, but when election day comes, many critics agree that it will be surprising to see either of the Democrats win. I know that people in America will vote for their party (in most cases) and Democrats will have to choose one or the other...I just don't think it will happen....Yes I have seen the amount of votes both Hilary and Barack have received, but I still don't see it happening in today's America. Ron Paul thus far in the Republican race hasn't done much with votes, but he HAS made a lot of progress over the past month. Will it be enough to make an impact? I guess we will all see when California, Texas, and New York along with the other Super Tuesday states vote. I know that I personally do not want to see either Romney or McCain win, and agree that Obama is next best option to Ron Paul...But will an African American be able to make it into the White House.......

I do believe the Obama has a legitimate shot at getting into office. I think America is ready for a change and this is right up his alley. If he has nothing else going for him, he has that. And not normally leaning towards the democrat way of thinking, I'm still tempted to vote Obama if it turns out that he beats out Clinton for the shot at office. I am glad that Guliani is withdrawing for sure.

I think you guys are crazy thinking about Obama, he is to the left of comrade Clinton on anything I've seen where he actually defines his views. Mostly he hasn't said one way or the other how he views things, he just talks about how he will make things "better". Don't get me wrong, thats a lot of what most politicians do, but Obama seems to be getting a pass on that more than most at this point.

I think the US would easily vote in a black man or a woman. I know I would as long as they are representative of what I think.

Sorry, got off on a tangent there... back to RP. In Florida Giuliani got what, 17% of the vote? And he sees the writing on the wall and drops out. RP got 3%? I see thw writing on the wall there as well, but I guess we'll see on not-so-super Tuesday.

😛
