    alright here goes i'm buildin my gsr motor at school and i need to know what i should run for ring gap?
    stock specs are
    top ring-.008''-.o14''
    2nd ring-.016''-.022''
    oil ring-.008''-.020''

    i have arias 9 to 1 compression pistons
    i know i'll need to file fit them but what i need to know is what my end gap should be i figured enough people on here have done this stuff so yea someone please help me out here????????

      Read the directions! They should have sent you a spec sheet w/ the pistons.

        ^What he said.

        But, 99% of the time, fallow the instructions. Some times there is a bit different gap if its a boost motor.

        Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
        Diesel repairs or performance products.

          Idk if he got directions with the set, cause I dont think they are brand new...

              If your running a boosted motor or nitrous, i would stay within spec listed, but definately go toward the high side. A little blowby is very favorable to butting the rings and fucking the whole thing up. If its gonna be NA, still stay toward the middle range.
