alright here goes i'm buildin my gsr motor at school and i need to know what i should run for ring gap?
stock specs are
top ring-.008''-.o14''
2nd ring-.016''-.022''
oil ring-.008''-.020''i have arias 9 to 1 compression pistons
i know i'll need to file fit them but what i need to know is what my end gap should be i figured enough people on here have done this stuff so yea someone please help me out here???????? -
If your running a boosted motor or nitrous, i would stay within spec listed, but definately go toward the high side. A little blowby is very favorable to butting the rings and fucking the whole thing up. If its gonna be NA, still stay toward the middle range.
