Those rotas are gonna blow up on you for getting knock off wheels....
Just kidding, things look great and that should be a fun car.
-
Got some tires for the Rota's along with some Rays lug nuts, so I will do some fender rolling tonight (thanks Colin).
Also go in some uber rare Prodrive floor mats for the GC chassis...Look pimp
NRG Grounding kits are back in stock, and I have one set aside for the RS
And to finish off my ordering, I got some Tanabe Pro SS Coilovers on the way! WOOT
Motor is going in this weekend!

Wow, wow, wow, and did I say WOW!

Well the games have begun.
7 hours of work thus far from Shane and I...and Chuck helped a bit to (cheap labor, each screw he removed he got 5 chips)
Laske is coming over tomorrow to notch the crossmember and weld the flap on the turbo shut....
Here is some progress:

Such a great day!

No comeback Chuck?
Just know I was completely joking.Well great news. The motor runs! Turned the key and only had to hold it about 3 seconds and she fires right up. Only 2 CEL's, and both are related to the fact that we didn't have the intercooler on or the boost control solenoid hooked up (still have to route wires, so these were intentionally left unhooked). Tomorrow will bring the rest of the install (minor items), DEFI's, coilovers, and reinstallation of the interior (eek!). Then 500 miles of breaking in a clutch....THAT is gonna suck!
Soon to hit the streets, the coupe WRS. WOOT :icon_cheers:

First time I've been on since you posted that. You know I would have had something dumb/smart to say.
Glad it is running, if you need anyone to eat your doritos again, just let me know.

Unless you are talking about Shane's 1986ish blue suburban, it wasn't me behind you. We started on it Friday 6pm and it hasn't seen the road since.Weird. It was a red RS with black wheels and what looked like no interior. I just assumed it was yours.
