            The movie 'Waiting' hit so many key points in the food service industry. Some of it may have been a little extreme, but I'm sure most can relate. For example, the almost closing time with a customer coming in. Common courtesy should always be considered when going in for food. If you go to McD's at 11:55 when they close at midinight, probably expect some cold food, or food that was under a heat lamp. But workers shouldn't expect to start cleaning up before closing... (i.e., shutting down grills, etc. ) I am sure some stuff is acceptable, but, you may only make things worse. I'm sure a lot of workers have a routine where somethings can be cleaned up or shut down before others in case of a customer coming in last minute.

            Rule of thumb.. Restaurant, order by 1/2 hr before close, Fast-Food 15 minutes before close.

                i try not to eat fast food, i only like McChickens and i always seem to find a good sized chunk of fat or a beak or some shit in it. 8/10 McChicks will have something unwanted in it, guaranteed

                    McD's makes the best fast food chicken sangwich as far as I'm concerned.
                    But there southern chicken with pickles and a buttered bun.....not so much.

                    If you saw what went into a hotdog you'd probably not want to eat those ever again. I had the privilege to see that first hand.

                      Ick, IMO McDonalds has by far the WORST chicken sandwiches, regardless of what one you order.

                      As for hotdogs, thats why it's worth it to spend a bit extra and get some premium ones, unless they are fundogs, right GSR?

                          I have worked at resturants and yes it sucks when ppl come in late, but honestly, your job is to serve ppl until close, so if they make it in the door before closing, they should be served as any other customer. Although i agree that ppl should try to hurry. I have worked at resturants where ppl sat and talked literally for hours so the kitchen was closed and everyone but myself and the manager had left but we stayed till they were done chatting. Sucks but it is the job.

                            Hey if that's what you want to do, that's fine, though I'm pretty sure if you filled the system with water and it was actually needed, it would be much easier to track you down and hold you responsible for a million+ dollar building burning down. Someone stuffing their face with a greasy heart-attack-on-a-bun burger and eating something they most likely wouldn't like is a little different. Nice try though. 🙂

                                The point isn't if I get caught, it's the principle of doing things that are illegal because you don't want to work anymore.

                                If I or my kid or wife gets sick from something fucked up in the food, I guarantee I will find out who did it, I will press charges and I will sue. I do go out and eat late at night, but I never use the drive through. Being inside makes it MUCH easier to ensure shit isn't fucked up. Cold food I can deal with, but if I find something in my food, someones manager is getting a phone call along w/ the health department.

                                  Speaking of messed up food, not saying that this does happen, but. The oriental buffets in the area, Giant Panda, King House and Grand Buffet on 32nd, ones I frequent when I'm in the mood for oriental. They could serve pork, chicken, cat, dog, pigeon or squirrel, who knows, as long they throw tempura on that shit and cook it thoroughly I'll slop sweet and sour on that shit and eat it. If it tastes good I'll turn it into poop.
