chevy 350 getting to hot
-
Well my 86 3/4 ton 350sb has been running pretty warm since i got it.. So i replaced the waterpump, tryed another radiator, bypassed the heatercore(might be blocking coolent flow?) changed the thermostat from a 195 deg to a 160 deg.. And with the 160 it runs realy cool for a while but still gets warm after a bit of driving about to 230 deg.. Also when i come up to a stop light and the temp is at say, 215 deg it cools right down to about 190.. But when i take off its right back up to 215-220 befor im across the street.. I do have an aftermarket temp gauge along side my stocker to see if the stock gauge was just messed up... So iv done about everything i can think of... OH and there is no coolent in the oil or anything
