Where To Buy Eclipse Speakers
-
Does anyone know a place in the twin cities where i can get 3" Eclipse speakers, perferably ones that fit in a 92 cavalier?

cool. do you know how far from Edina, or Robbinsdale Savage is? I will also see if i can find a phone book to look up if there is a BZ near my training center in Edina, or near my grandparents house in Robbinsdale.

its not horribly far...do you know your way around pretty good? to get to savage get on 494 then take the highway 169 exit...follow that until you get to the savage exit...its county 100 and minnesota 13 i believe....follow that and then take a right towards savage...follow that road straight for awhile until you come to Egan Dr/county 42 or i think its 140th or 142nd st....take a left...follow county 42 all the way until you get to huntington drive...take a left and go into the little strip mall theres a ton of rims and stuff in the glass at the place...you cant miss it

i'm still figuring out what all the roads here are, but i got down where 100, 494, and 81 are, but that's basically it. i got lost this morning for 30 min trying to find Starbucks. There is a Circuit City really close to my training center, and i know where it is. do you think they carry eclipse speakers? if not, i'll go on an 'adventure' and try to follow your directions to the BZ store.

Site On Sound was where i got my original speakers, but the front 2 have blown since. I like the sound from the eclipse brand, but i don't really want Site On Sound to install my speakers again because they raped me with installation costs last time. Plus, i don't think my warrenty is still good since it's been 7 months since they were installed, and i've messed with the deck by installing subs.

so buy them and install them yourself its really easy.......Innovative audio in Hutchinson, MN sells them.

if you didn't cut any wires or mess with their original install of the front speakers, it would be awfully hard for them to deny warranty. Do you have a seperate amp powering the eclipses? If you are using an external amp for powering them and have not touched the gains/settings they should warranty it, however if you've turned up the gain and messed w/ crossover settings they should not warranty it (warranty isn't supposed to cover stupidity). Also, if they're just running off your deck you should be able to get them warranteed. I'd try that before you stick more money into buying them. What do you have to lose? If they blew they should replace them @ no cost to you IMHO, since its not your fault they blew (assuming again that you haven't messed w/ anything)
