lol, visitors are cool, but this forum has had alot of fake accounts that failed...but one got away and it was quite the uproar, and since then everyone has been on their toes.

I dunno too much about Honda's, but I'd guess the clutch change would go something like this. Any honda guys correct me if I get off track:

                  1. Jack the car up and put it on jackstands

                  2. Unhook the lower ball joint/control arm/(whatever hondas have) enough to swing the front hubs out. Impact off the CV shaft nuts and then pull the shafts out of the hub.

                  3. Use a small prybar to get the cv shafts out of the tranny. Unhook the shifter linkage from the trans, unhook the exhaust and any other honda doo dads you see that might keep the tranny from coming out.

                  4. Support the engine with a jack/jackstand, and then unbolt the tranny from the chassis (I assume the trans has one of the motor motor mounts on it?). Then support the tranny with a jack, and unbolt it the trans from the engine. Use the jack to help separate the trans from the engine, then lower it and go set it somewhere out of the way.

                  5. unbolt the pressure plate, and remove it along with the worn out clutch disk. Check the flywheel for wear/damage and go get it surfaced if it's beat up (Quality engine, M&J, etc).

                  6. using clutch alignment tool, install the new clutch disk/pressure plate on the freshly surfaced flywheel. torque pressure plate bolts to spec.

                  7. Install the trans back on the motor and re-hook up anything you too apart in 1-4. Take car off of jack stands.

                  8. Start car up, rev to 8000 rpm and drop the clutch and do a smokey burnout. (new clutches like this).

Changing a clutch takes seriously, like 2 hours.

                      on a Honda.
