Maybe less weight in the s2k compared to the Vette would help out the traction? Anyways, wouldn't be my first choice to drop an ls in but it definately works my pants.

or you could take a $1500 stock ls2 short block, put some nice heads, cam, and exhaust on top and make 500whp

doesn't make any sense to buy a ls7 when you could build a fully forged ls1/ls2 for less
