P10 Reviews

p10 was pretty kickass. A few of the cars i dont thnk were "show quality" but i'd say over half were drop dead gorgeous, beautiful, and all the above cars!! I wish there were a few more cars, but for the atmosphere, women, the music, ect i think its worth 4 hour drive (one way) and 15 bucks to get it! 2nd year i've gone, and will be back next year and entering for sure.
The lambo was pretty damn nice, i loved Shanes ITR and the line of K swapped honda's that they had lined up. The nsx wasn't to bad (if it wasn't for the neon lights in the wheels, but thats why its a car show people). The bike lineup was very decent and all nice as well.

I absolutly had a blast. From drive in to drive out. I have been to every single perfect 10 shows and liked them all there is always something different. This year I thought it was the best but that also if because it was my first car show that i have ever entered and it was a blast. Would of loved to take a trophy home but its pretty hard to compete with tonys s2k and the rest that were in our cat. Either way i had a blast and will continue to be a part of p10 in anyway possible. All the guys at TM worked there asses off and did an amazing job. All the clubs look great and the atmosphere was just the best. theres my two cents!

The only negative that I think worth mentioning was when the awards were given out, many of the people were given awards without knowing what car was theirs. I knew only about 1/3 of the people/cars competing so I had a hard time following what car they were giving an award to/for.

It woulda been really cool if somehow they snapped pics of the cars they were announcing and had them on the big screen. I do understand that this would require a little more work, so it's just a thought

It was a blast competing for the first time, definitly a different mind set than just showing up at the show. For the Criticism, there were a couple cool displays and I don't understand how the mustang trac pak beat us for best display, but to eaches own I guess, I wasn't there for the award so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Judges taking pics mightve given away who won possibly? just a thought? Every Big car show is like this. Shit, at HIN Scott Blodgett won best Honda Other.... with 74 awards, that must be a hassle, I think Jason did a great job! -

Lambo didn't do anything for me....nice car, just not a show car IMHO.NSX....GOD IS THAT CAR FUCKING AWFUL! If you have to ask why, you really shouldn't comment on cars ever again. Ever.....but for those that were wondering what I didn't like about it: Fitment of kit...there had to be 1" of gap difference from the drivers to passengers side of the trunk/hatch/engine cover. The body kit also had a fair amount of damage associated with daily driving. At least 2 wheels had substantial curb damage. I like the concept, but the implementation sucked.
lowrider & minitrucks were a nice change I thought. Not my thing necessarily, but diversity is good.
Best car of the show (aside from the S2K): Cindy's Lightning or Stenslands STi....though the APS turbo kit seemed a bit goofy to me the way it installs
I agree the nsx kit fit horribly....i think i'd pic the blue sti over stenslands though, almost the same kit, blue one had way nicer more agressive wheels and more aftermarket interior parts, but lacked the cosworth long block is all..

Funny think about Car Craft is that it is in the cities, not Fargo. You are not figuring in the 7 hours of drive time round trip as well as the cost of fuel, lodging, food, etc. Comparing Car Craft to P10 is silly.- you're

Can I ask how the judges are picked for an event like this?Drunkest ones still able to stand by the time the show is supposed to start :drunken_smilie:
Actually, TM selects the judges based on their own criteria. Usually (I'm assuming) it is people who are familiar with car shows and have been attending/showing for a number of years and those who they feel are least likely to show any form of bias.

Fair enough. Thanks for the input.

I get handed the award sheet at 10:15pm, and it had car numbers and names. OOPS! I went through as many of them as I could and wrote down car info, but I didn't have enough time to get everyone's car info down. I agree that always sucks when a car wins, and many don't know who the winner was. That was an error that we normally don't encounter!
Thanks to everyone for the support and help. There are a lot of things that need to be in place to make the show go off, and it isn't something I, nor anyone could do single handed. So thanks to everyone that helped from big to small.
