I just decided one day to fight back and push around like them and now im good? but in all reality of things, yes, the whole ordeal with what happened to me put into perspective who I really am and they know my attitude a bit more (see "tumor...fuck" thread) I respect all the nice caring people, but there is a fine line between "feeling sorry for" and "pity"...im just trying to be me and be independent.

Exactly. Dramatic things tend to put things in perspective, and I wish you didn't have to go through it. It seems to me that things have changed for you alot and it shows in how you have been responding on this board. All I know of you is what I see on this board, and would like to met you some day. Maybe one of tintmaster's show and shines when you get your ride fixed it up. That is if I could get my lazy self over to one of them and bring one of my cars.
I think you do a good job of keeping the pity people away. I personally can't stand pity, but feeling sorry for someone when they are down on their luck, that's different. I like to think of it more as empathy. Life sucks at times and we have all had time were life sucks.

Thanks, I couldnt think of the word empathy at the moment but that is what I was trying to say yea. I should have my car back and ready for many different carshows sometime early next year before summer really starts. I do agree, life does indeed suck at many different times but there isnt much we can do about it except go with it.

The way I see it there is two ways this thread can go. We can use it as a wake up call for rob and hope he gets the message. Or we can continue making fun of him for working at walmart. While the latter is more fun, the former is more constructive.

Cobra Rob has had some stupid shit but he is no worse then 85% of the other posts on this site. Sure he calls out people who hasn't? Out of all the people who have been called out, probably only like 10% have actually followed up on that "callout". I agree 100% with Ruthless, so what if it's a job at Walmart, he's actually working unlike some of the people who come on here and bitch about not having a job and then get pissed when someone says to work at these certain jobs. Someone has to do it and have the patience to put up with the people. I for one can't deal with it so I give credit to retail people/waiters and anyone else who has to put on a face to please the customer. Bored in Chicago so you finally got a normal post out of me
