      REGARDLESS OF WHAT HAPPENED.....the actual jack it's self is gone, and a peice of plastic went with it.

        Looked it up, I can't find the jack. but I can find the jack with the cable.

            Eff that. I could buy three of these toshibas for the price of one mac with similar specs.

              And you can install MacOS on your Toshiba...which is pretty much the only difference between the 2...other than price.

              At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

                The break away power adapter on the Mac is pretty sweet.

                      That should be no problem. Open the computer up and plug in the new connector... if the pins were pulled out just match up the wires and solder them right to the board.
