Ive got an issue with my Wifes car. I have exhausted all my knowledge and googles knowledge. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a good mechanic shop to run some diagnostics and tell me whats wrong. Its a Monte carlo and It will not start. The battery is fine and it was getting fuel and spark but wouldnt start up. I replaced the fuel filter, the fuel pump is running fine and Checked the timing belt but I dont know how to tell if its jumped a tooth. And there are no CEL's.
Pile of shit
Thanks in advance for the shop reference.
question...... is it a newer monte carlo?.... my parents had one and my dad was dickin around with something and ended up tripping the anti theft and the car wouldnt start. so maybe you having the same issue? just an option

Darrels repair in north moorhead he is a super good guy and will fix only what needs to be. He only works on american cars and he is pretty cheap. very knowledgeable!Touche son. He has been my family mechanic for years and you are not kidding he really will only fix what you tell him to do. Place is fuckin BUSY tho.
I can also vouch for Corey's, worked closely with Frank there on more than one occasion and he's one of the best.

Ive had good experience with southpointe on 32nd. They don't screw you over with parts you don't need or jack up part prices.I brought the Talon there one time back in the day when I was having problems. They told me they couldn't fix it because it had too many missing and too many aftermarket parts.
I lol'd.

Yeah it could be it the VATS...get to it I know you are bored...
Holy fuck. lol. Thanks though.
I also tried using both keys for the ignition and it didnt change anything but I will check into that as well. I think I am going to replace the fuel preasure regulator. I dont think thats going to work, worth a shot.

STOP THROWING PARTS AT IT. it doesnt sound anything like a fuel pressure regulator.

take the cap off the schrader valve on the rail and open it for a second, if you have crisp pressure you are good
