I had a Tundra that did experience the "bed bounce" in one spot on the road (by hillsboro heading south) but ONLY when traveling at ~63 to 67 mph. Yes, it was a resonance issue, but all you had to do was speed up above 67 or slow down below 62 to overcome it....and even then only at certain times/pavement types/expansion joint spacings did it ever occur. FWIW, my Tundra would out-pull my dads F150 with EASE when pulling a loaded stock trailer. IF I were to buy another new 1/2 ton, Toyota would still be high on my list....especially if it were for pulling a trailer of some sort.

Toyota tough gets all butt hurt when i call his truck out. I did it because your probably some JDM butt humper that bought that crappy pickup because its a 'toyota'. And those tests show a lot. When you have a heavy load on your truck, a flexible frame is something you do NOT want. Maybe if you drive around town with some plywood in if the bed, its fine, but for anyone that actually uses a truck for what its designed to do, that won't cut it.

Figured i'd exchange the shit and put it on somebody else for a change. :icon_santa: and BTW, i don't drive a Ford. Never have, never will, but they know how to build a fullsize truck 30X better than Toyota. Its not a very good truck, but its better than a Ridgeline lol.
Ridgelines are gay. :icon_rr: Honda building a truck.... ROFLMAO

I carry carpet/vinyl and tools in the truck... Does just fine for what I need it to, I'll take the ride of my Tundra over any of the others I have owned, and as for pulling I already told you that it pulls my camper with no problem where as my brother took it and he had to pull over and sit for a bit cause the Ford was having troubles. I took my truck to the cities doing between 80-85 and experienced none of the bed bouncing, although I have felt it before but nothing to the significance of me wanting to get rid of it. Only thing I would switch about it is the way you have to turn off the VSC I believe where everytime you turn on the truck if you dont want it on you gotta hold a button for 3 seconds, there's a mod I saw for it to take it off but I am not confident enough with doing it myself. And no I dont hump JDM because this is my first Toyota, I've had my share of American cars and Imports whichever you choose as I ''hump" away.

The import 1/2 ton offerings are just ok, my fav still being the Titan among them. Mitsubishi missed the mark and Honda wasn't even shooting at the right target. Honda built the Ridgeline for the typical Honda owner who wanted a truck. I'm not sure any of the import makes want to attempt to make a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck for the states. While Mercedes builds excellent medium and heavy trucks they are built for a different market where that's all they are used for. Here my brothers F250 has to be equal parts minivan and semi truck.
