Oil Catch Can???
-
Ok, so I've been doing some research on what the purpose of an oil catch can is for, but Im thinking they are more of a cosmetic object than something that will actually benifit me. So if anyone knows anything about these and if there recomended please make a comment because im quite curious.
Thanks -
If your not boosted then the chances of you needing one are very slim. They let excess pressure bleed for the crankcase.

I'm gonna be trying for the 300hp range and I guess I'm trying to figure out if I'm gonna need one.

Well doing it in a way that isn't a waste of time isn't cheap, the fittings get expensive quick. You need a catch can that is vented and has a drain back unless you want to drain it yourself. (can run the risk of dumping all your oil into the can and overflowing it or running low on oil).
