It is a 5 speed super hicas. And I'm planning to swap in a CA18DET whenever I can come up with the money, which probably wont be til I finish college unfourtunately. I'm planning on taking care of all the footwork stuff first.

What's up kenn. Those were some fun runs, but I thought GSR's were faster than that? Haha, j/p. Your car is pretty quick. The 240 did better than I thought it would. We'll definately have to do it again sometime. And Phats, yes, my car is black.

You know you could always turbo the KA24DE (i think that is it). I guess they respond well to being boosted. Plus having the extra displacement over the 1.8 will really help in the power gains. Just remember there is no replacement for displacement.
-
the KA24 was almost designed with boosting in mind, with the already fairly low compression and a very stout bottom end, i say boost that! Not many pple have that either. And welcome, that is one hella clean 240.

Thanks for the compliments. Boosting my KA is definately an option, but the main reason I want to go with the CA18 is for the efficient valve train (it doesn't have rocker arms). That would be crazy being able to rev up to 9k. And I have been in fargo since September. I'm originally from Jamestown and I'm going to school at NDSU right now. Not sure if I'll be staying through the summer yet.

I've seen your car before in T lot, as well as the focus on your cardomain. Both are very clean. -
my car is all stock. but our quarter miles are pretty close. Well see when theres no ice on the road. i thought the 240sx would pull faster off the line since it has more displacement.

Yeah, my car is bone stock too pretty much. Hopefully I'll be able to put my rims back on this week if weather permits. I'm sure I'll see you cruising around sometime. -
