I dont think you will have too much trouble with the injectors, but i agree you should have gotten 1200s anyway. I suspect you will be out of pump with that walbro trying to run high pressure to compensate.
Aeromotive is now releasing and will be tested in the coming weeks a drop in walbro replacement that is 340lph at 43.5psi vs the walbros 255. It will be $180 and looks to be the answer for all the intank pump users. I would be on the lookout for a bigger injector, maybe see if you can trade yours in on them if they are unused, and try to keep pressure down to 40psi or so base

my plan right now is to use the walbro to feed a surge tank, then run a bosch 044 from the surge tank. Im thinking i'll run a 50psi base, and the boost reference will bring it up accordingly, i figure roughly 80 psi max. the injectors at that pressure flow almost 1300cc. The 044 should be able to keep up with that. that aeromotive is a nice option though....

I have a problem with running multiple pumps, its just not safe. I would rather run a boost a pump myself. In fact the aero pump flows 400lph@ 17v, 60psi; and 330lph @17v; 90psi

Ditch the surge tank idea and just get a big enough external pump and sump the tank. If you don't want to sump the tank, mount another pump with the exitsting one in the tank.

Surge tank isn't needed and a waste of time trying to build and fit.

ps. how many times have people had a Walbro pump fail. I haven't known anyone yet.

After doing some more reading, I think you guys are probably right. I will order an aeromotive 340 with a boost-a-pump, which should be more than enough
