    Ill tell you later tonight 😉 official release tonight.

    Its n54 equip... TT 3.0 liter inline 6 pushing 360ish hp/tq... 0-60 will probably be in that mid 4's range with a flat 13 second 1/4 mile. Thats not really what they are made for though, this car is supposed to be the most pure BMW since the original M3. The car/driver connection will be unparalleled. Heres the best part... priced in the mid 40's.

    This car will be epic. Now, lets hope the masses like it and they produce more like it.
    EDIT::::::::

      I'm disappointed it's using the N54 honestly. It would have been nice to see an S54 powered car. 7k rev limit is weak.

        I concur. I would had loved to see the S54 used.. I dont think the engine had the efficiency they wanted. Nonetheless, the n54 is a great power plant, just a bit over used IMO. Virtually no turbo lag at all...but the TQ does fad substantially at 6-7k, I think that will be the only complaint among enthusiasts.

        What are your thoughts visually?

        I personally dont like the base trim 1er. This on the other hand is gold.

              No. The 135i is priced at 37k. Those numbers are just a comparison of the two. The m starts at 46ish

              Did I hear right that you got a Evo?

                i think the rear valence is a bit too busy. I think overall its a nice treatment on the base 1 series body, but I'm not a big fan of the 1 series coupe rear treatment to begin with.

                I think it's entirely the wrong car though. the 128i base price is $29k; at 46k this thing is about a maxxed out 3 series. You can get a used E60 M5 for that kind of money; you can get many 911 turbos for that kind of money... even the 964 turbo. If the idea is that this is a hot small car, there are hotter, smaller cars I'd rather have.

                BMW is considering FWD for the next 1 series. Fuck them.
