I agree. And I'll take it a step further than that. Even if you are happy with the way the elections results turned out in the above two examples it is still important to vote for who is going to represent you and especially for local measures that affect you daily. But really, all politics are local so I just encourage people to pay attention to what it going in, educate yourself on the issues (by that I mean listen to both sides of the argument and THEN make your opinion instead of just listening to one pundit and deciding that his/her word is gospel... because there is a TON of spin on both sides of the issues) and on your choice of candidate. There are some poor candidates on both sides from time to time after all.

nolvadex is a non-steroid anti-estrogen which competitively inhibits estrogen receptors in the target organs and tumors in them. Mechanism of its action is not completely investigated though it is known that a complex of Nolvadex with the receptor and cofactor appears and than it is transferred to the cell nucleus preventing hypertrophy of the cells which depend on regulation by estrogen. The effect of the medication can last several weeks after a single dose. Nolvadex is able to cause ovulation in women, stimulation production of gonadotropic hormones of hypophysis. In men with oligospermia it increases concentration of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, testosterone and estrogen in the blood serum.
nolvadex for sale is used to treat breast cancer in women and in men (especially after castration) and also when it has spread to other parts of the body, kidney cancer, melanomas and sarcomas of the soft tissues with estrogen receptors, cancer of the ovary.

Well, it depends how you define "extra". It's not a NEW tax, but it is a tax above and beyond what the standard rate would be without it in place. (meaning nothing changed by passing it)

Well, the tax would have expired and would not have existied had it not been voted on, so I guess you can look at it both ways. I see it as extra, because it had expired.

The problem I see is that there is no reasoning support for either sides of a position in question here. When we talk about the 1/2 cent sales tax, why are you against or for it? Talking about Obamacare, why do you feel that we need it, or are against it? There will always be two sides to a story, and the majority will always win. That is the unfortunate part of politics. If decisions were made in a rational timely manner, we would all be happy with the outcomes of voting. It is this where education needs to come in, and have voters decide based on being fully educated on the topic at stake. Yes we need more people to vote, but not because you want more people to vote for your position, but because they should be voting for their own beliefs.

That said, I will start with the sales tax. Yes, it appears that we have funding to get things done. But the biggest question that every citizen of this metro area has the same underling concern... WHERE is our flood protection??? Every year that goes by without actually getting a diversion or flood wall built creates risk associated with severe flooding in the spring. We can not rely on the federal government paying for a portion of the flood protection that is needed. History shows that they only step in at the very last minute, if not when it is too late. Besides, the federal government is finally cutting their spending to try and get their deficit in check. How do we know that any potential flood funding won't be there tomorrow? The 1/2 cent sales tax will help provide added monetary resources to get the project finished, without relying on government.

                Thoughts?

My problem with the tax is this: The tax was initially voted on for a specific reason, it was put in place for a specific period of time after which it was to expire. To simply renew it "just because we might need it" goes against my grain. If we need funding for flood protection, then they should figure out how much we need, and then vote for funding it.

Obamacare: Ugh, everything in Obamacare goes against my grain, and the core of what this country was built on. IMO, we need LESS government, not MORE government in everything, not just our "healthcare" system.

Yes, the gubmint is sure getting the deficit under control. 😛 It depends on whos numbers you believe, but it looks like 1.3 trillion (give or take) for this year, just a little more than last year.
