BTW, i forgot to list that the headlights are JDM. anyways, for all those lamines out there that done know about hondas, Acura doesn't exist in Japan. This car in Japan is called the Honda Integra Type-R, Over here it is called the Acura RSX Type-S. Hence the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) conversion of installing factory parts that come standard from over there. Now, I dont have the Type-R badge for the rear, nore the Type-R floormats and seats. And when we refer to a "Red Top", that is a Red Valve cover that is standard for most Japanese cars, i believe. There is very few things left to finish the conversion, along with what is listed, i need to obtain the aluminum lower control arms, and the black oil dip stick too. As of the suspension, ill leave it the way it is since it is better than the factory parts, along with the brakes even though the Japanese version came with Brembos.

You've got a nice car there. I really like it. -
HURRAH IM NOT ALONE! that makes 2 rsx type s's...well sorta.

Daly, Please inform us that don't know, what is the point of converting, are the parts Higher performace? Is it Just for looks? I know if you convert a '66 hardtop into a GT it is still a conversion and the vin will show such, therefore not bringing GT price for the vehicle. Just curious.

Ok, the point of doing a JDM conversion is almost like any others....except it has an excoticness to it. Just to get an actual JDM Integra over here may run upwards of $35-50K, therefore making it harder to actually get on here since you have to replace some other parts with legal ones to make it meet US safety specs. As far as I know, there is only 1 actual JDM Integra in the US and it is in Cali. So doing this conver is similar to doing a base to a GT, except costs a shit load more and is more exotic. As for the performance aspect, yes, some things are a higher performing "enhancer". As for this car, the stock brembo brakes, sportier suspension, higher performing engine (as far as i know, just an even higher compression), and some parts that are lighter in weight like the aluminum lower control arms up front.

Hey welcome... love the car, one of my favorites by far!

Sweet ride man. JDM will look good too. Have fun and welcome to the street.

This is the previous owner of the car. Just to add a few things. Some of the JDM parts took me along time to find. And some took a very long time to arrive since they came factory direct. The only JDM part that I bought used was the steering wheel. I went with the Rotora front big brake kit and rear rotors simply because I didn't feel like spending the $3500 it would have cost to replace parts of the front suspension and buy the JDM Brembros.
I was looking into the JDM Blue seats and door panels but they are very hard to find. The only time that I saw them on EBay I didn't have the money to pick them up. I had all the JDM Pedals on order but they never came in so watch out if you order anything for JHPUSA.com, BAD Customer service. I had the Type R badges and the side stickers but decided not to put them on since many people take offense to putting Type R badges on a car that will never be a real Type R. I agree totally with that.
If you want a complete list of JDM and other mods on the vehicle just ask there may be a few that you haven't noticed, in fact I guarantee it.
