According to north dakota law the employer does not have to give you any kind of warning or written notice prior to firing, lay off etc... but by this same token you dont have to give them written notice before quitting like if you walk out on the job they have to take it in the shorts no bullshit look it up in the library.. furthermore employers like to follow like a 90 day probationary period if thats what you want to call it to see what kind of employee they have hired 12 weeks if you look at it weekly you werent even half through that not to dog on you man i dont know you you could be the best worker but you cost him money in production in your first couple of weeks im bettin 9 times out of 10 in a production atmosphere your gettin the boot

sorry for the mis hap dude go apply at community living services they pay decent

i agree with Blake to a point...but why are these policies set up? to cover our asses? yes. but this also prevents us from any lawsuit that may come up because of firing someone. i am 99.9% sure you guys are right about the North Dakota law about letting people go, but you have to admit that seems a little shady...

i know i have worked at a couple places where you have a 90 day probational period. if you miss more then 2 days in that period you get cut off, but i was told that prior to starting my job. my current job i am on a probational period even. also cavalier babe, torbs works at place right next to where chuck works. i work where he does :D.
