i pulled the motor because the bearings are shot, and i just happened to find out the clutch was gone when i pulled it off the flywheel. I am going through the motor and rebuilding it, and its not going to be stock, but its also not going to be extremely fast. I would like to know where i can find a stage 1 exedy for 250.

harwood, just get the setup for $420 like you were saying before...that way there's no looking involved, and its a good deal too...

Great clutches great prices. And they can build what ever you want if you need to go that route

Wannabe, its not the amount of power the clutch can handle that im worried about. Its the fact that i dont want it to fade alot like an OEM on does when it gets warm from track abuse. I want something that will grab all the time and last a while and that can also take the abuse of auto-x/road racing.

please enlighten me as to the hatch that ran an 11.3 in ND, and even so what does that have anything to do with his car?

Buy a good clutch to start w/ not some random BS company just getting into the game unless you really like pulling your trans.

Here's another vote for the Exedy stage 1. Had it in my hatch and it was perfect. And cheap too. There's absolutely NO need for any puck clutch in a car that doesn't make 500HP or constantly wear out organic clutches because of too much power. You should buy a clutch that will be good to drive with everyday, since your car is driven every day. And for the person who posted that they heard about a lot of people having problems with organic clutches, where the fuck did you get that info from? Every stock clutch in every car basically uses an organic disk. Sure they're not all the exact same but damn.

                                  Oh and another thing, LOCK!

Anyways, Exedy Stage 1 is the shit especially in honda applicatons. And I guess the difference between 12.4 and 11.2 is only .1 now as well. Damn new math. 🙂
