Tonights Update. I am about 70% done with the body work and sanding. I had a handful of dents to fix and found some rust holes under the trim I had to weld new sheet metal in, Otherwise its comming good, almost got the body itself done, but haven't even starter on the bumper covers or trim yet. Still hoping to have primer shot this sunday and paint laid before next weekend. Its gunna be a fairly nice car. Now only if I can complete the interior, I would be set.
I ordered a set of Neuspeed Lowing spring and hope to have new wheels ordered next month.

update, the car is in primer. Going to be painted this weekend. Body isn't perfect but it is nice enough for a daily driver.

Well the Crx is offically painted red. I will get pictures up in the next couple days. It looks alright but will take a good cut and buff to look nice. It was my dad who shot it for me and well, he didn''t have a good day with the car. The garage heater died a few days ago so he was using the Nipco heater to keep it toasty, but right when he was laying the last few coats of clear the pump on the heater went out and it blew dust all over the garage, I eneded up having to run my heater over to his house, but since paint woun;t dry when its so cold, a few runs had developed.
So I got a fairly diecent paint job that will look nice an last a long time. My body work wasn't very good, because I didn't want to put much effort into a daily driver that will get car door dings and dents anyways. But I hope to have pics up Monday or Tuesday night, when I pick it up.
My new wheels are showing up Wednesday and I ordered tires from Tintmasters so I am all set there, after I got the wheels on the car I will look into lowering springs. I also still need a muffler and since the stock one sucks I will end up going with a tuner one
Guess I will be driving a car that sounds like a weed wacker, but I guess that what you get with a honda that has like 1" exhaust, lol.Mike

First off sweet deal that it is painted. Cant wait to see thes pics of it especially with the wheels on it.On the other note I think it would of made a little sense to do a good quality job on it so people could see the quality of work you can do since you say you want/have a shop and to automotive work. Just my .02

i think it says his dad painted it...and there are explainations for the not so perfect paintjob.

Yes I could have done a really nice job, but it wasn't very nice car. I am not set upt to do paint and body work now, so that expalins part of it. Next summer my body shop will be done and I will have a proper paint booth, right now we're using a garage.
But this spring we are doing my 79 Trans AM and that will be perfect, so that will be a good example of our work. But I myslef hate body work, my dad was a professional painter once, but because of health problems can no longer handle the body work, so once I am up and running I am going to hire a body guy.

But you know what, now Kevin will have some business from me, because I was thinking of having him cut and buff the car.

I wasnt sure exactly what automotive work you do/are set up to do...I saw motor swaps but i figured you might do more since you were doing this project also. Sorry for the miscommunication...
