Turbo Testing
-
A/F was borderline at the end. Finally ran out of injector. Otherwise we maintained right around 11.8:1 to 12.0:1. We didn't spend much time on tuning, spoolup was FAT and under boost we just tried to keep flat around the 11.8:1 area. I am sure there would be more power if we would have actually spent the time going through timing tables and so on. Just a safe generic tune on each power level.
I have the runfiles but the runviewer sucks and doesn't work as well as the actual WinPEP software. Andy's printer was acting up so once he gets those mailed up we'll get them scanned and posted online.

Also, thanks to Andy we bring you the dyno sheets!

Worthless. These turbo's also do come w/ 3 different sizes of turbines, we were using the .76AR, they have 2 sizes smaller which will drastically increase spool up for those who think the S200 was "to laggy". We would have picked up a few hundred rpm spool up as well if we would have tuned the spool up rpm's.

Well unfortunatly the right turbine housing didn't show up for our S300 so we wont be able to that this week but we'll be on top of it next week for sure. Although they are sending us a bolt on GT30R and a bolt on S200 for testing this weekend. Both turbo's should be here friday.

We're starting to get recognition for our tests!

Hadn't even turned up the old setup yet.

Wait til we turn up a new setup vs. the old setup.

This is getting interesting now.
How much do you think your motor can take??

Hehe, we'll just have to go find out. It's a built bottom end, so there's nothing else to make it stronger. Only reason i see it going down now is its old. It's got over 3 full seasons on it w/o being opened up. I figured it woulda melted down end of last year when we were doing 60-180mph blasts running bikes down the interstate.
