At least you don't have to fix it this time.

I dont know about bad luck; they must have been running it lean or else boosting like 30+ psi boost on pump gas...

That motor shoudln't have blown up...

Well, considering the wastegate vacuum line wasn't attached probably allowed them to run A TON of boost on a highway pull. Shit sucks, and I'm not too sure how MAP is going to build their car...haha.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

4g64 is a 2.4 single cam motor out of a syder GS FYI. Tons or torque for a 4 cyl, but I think traction will still be a HUGE issue in making that thing run 11's since he's keeping it front wheel. That thing will need some sweet ass suspension.and a nice traction bar, along with massive slicks. but, that would be one hell of a highway puller!

read one of the last comments on that thread. it said something along the lines of " fastest fwd stock turbo is in the 10's" ?
                                is that possible? just asking.
but IIRC dont the stock turbos max out somewhere around 400? and then FWD to pull it into the tens, dont seem logical.
                                like i said, just asking.

6 bolt 4g64 also came in older galants. That motor is still a POS and not worth the time/effort. Glad to see you don't have to deal w/ fixing that shit Jim!
