i was wondering what headlights are in the white ,Tintmasters?, scion xb.

saw the same one last night. if it is a tintmasters one, probably the same Vision HID's that I have. Looks to be 8000K, but I know that they sold 10000K ones too.

i was thinking about getting the 10000k ones what do you guys think of those? are they too voilet purple?

i believe so. the higher the color temp you get, the lower the actual light output you will notice. 10000k is near the ultraviolet limits and you are seeing lesser scattered light than with a lower k. 8000k is the highest that I would recommend. It is a very nice bluish white color. As the bulbs age, the color temp will go down too. Stock color temps are in the 4300k to 6000k range, which results in a yellow to white color. the bright yellow ones you see are around 3000k. So if you are going for a "show" kinda look and like the purple color, then 10000k is the one you would want but you wont benefit much from the light output as a 6 or 8.
