May I request you don't pick the big event (or any i will wish for) July 21 weekend. That is CarCraft, seems like thats always the weekend of the 2 day race day. I just dont want to miss the big event. Just a request, thanks!

I think the Quick 8's are being run well and the rules work nicely. Have to keep it simple. I think I will try find a white board to donate for these events so we can see a board with Quick 8 updates. Keep it up.

Saturday’s event was fun and the quick 8 went well. Thanks to Top End and Playtime for making that happen.

My bro came with 28x10.5 ET Drags and was told he cannot compete with those tires in the Quick 8, so he had to run drag radials. I believe he purchased those to comply with original Quick 8 rules. I am also wondering why the AWD and FWD cars have no tire width restriction? Are DOT slicks still allowed to be 28x12.5” width? Mickey Thompson’s ET Streets (bias ply DOT slicks) minimum width is 10.5”. Just wanting to get some input and get a little clarification as I am planning on buying some DOT slicks.

What time does the Quick 8 typically start? I was in the Quick 8 June 11th, I dont think it finished until like 730 that day.

I assume there are factors involved such as incidents (spills) and how many participants.

Who is coming to this event? I have a feeling the quick 8 will be a fun one and lots of cars will be there.

I remember last year a dirty Jawa in what I believe was a 300C started doing a burnout in the staging lanes...complete idiot. I got pissed off that day for many reasons...I kept wanting to get lined up with that Lambo and it finally happened but then another jawa in a BMW got in front of me to run him...I ended up running the same fucking POS I had been lined up against all day.
