all connections seem to be good. so i tried adjusting some of the settings on the amp and now the protection light is flashing on and off again.

im checking all my connections right now. then im going to try and check if there is any power going from the amp to the sub. I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the amp but hopefully its just a connection.

The amp is a Rockford Fosgate p300-1 and the sub is a Kenwood KFC-W12. did not buy the sub in town, got it online bnib. also checked the sub after i hooked it up to the amp and got nothing and it seems to be fine but i would need to hook it up to a working amp to fully know.

Also while i was checking the ground wire, there was some speaker wire grounded with it. any idea what that would have been for?

new problem with the amp/sub. so i got a new sub but when i hooked it up nothing happened. only light on, on the amp is the power light. its a 4ohm svc sub and im wondering if i just wired it up wrong or if there is something i could be missing.

pretty sure they are blown when i push down on them they make a bit of a grinding noise

well i am just starting to look at subs again so send me some info on the sub and a price.

well the protection light doesn't flash when the subs are disconnected, so looks like they are blown.

I am having an issue with my subs/amp right now, every time they try to go the amp flashes the protection light and it happens every couple of seconds. this just started ooo 5 min ago and before this they were not doing anything since one of the wires from the amp to the subs came loose. any idea what i need to do to fix it or is something toast? also i havent taken a look at any of the fuses yet but i figured if one went nothing would be working.

i do believe this is not the one with the plates trbolag, also i thought the evo with that plate had a cf hood.

i need to get some stainless steel and cast aluminum welded. any suggestions on where to go or who to ask. its barely any welding at all just 2 probably 1/8-1/4" holes need to be filled and one 1/4" pipe needs to be welded on.
