yeah, i don't want a 10pt in there, maybe later but doubt it

8pt is only good to 10.0 and or 135mph. 10pt it and be done.

no not in the quest of any more power or mileage

just towing at mid power and speeds suck right now

Watch out on the I-state because I can pull 25,000lbs at 80mph with any hill or wind and cool just fine, but suck at 55mph and can't use any power because my EGT's creep

and most the roads here is slow stuff

want more boost down low like i did with the stock turbo and yet still have big air up top

    want to sell me yours??

Nope, i went back to stock cuz the larger units surge to bad when towing and eventually eat themselves. Thus is why i was curious what your goal was and interested in results. I have (2) 62mm here that need rebuild.

Here's the 3rd gear graph over rpm. Reving to 7500, not sure exactly why he stopped 3rd gear @ 7k.

I have seen a guy swap the TII trans in w/ a hackjob adaptor plate setup. Most the road race guys use the 6spd as the gearing there is not important. If i continued to try drag race the 6spd simply would not work. There is a gearset out for the 5spd that would solve the issue of ripping the gears apart, but right now my issue is trying to find what causes the trans issue w/ high rpm 3rd as i got 2 trans doing the same thing.

what were u running for 60ft? that thing ripped outa the hole on slicks...

1.586, 1.589, 1.624 were 3 best 60' unfortunatly none of those connected w/ 3rd gear. Fast pass was a 1.667 60'. Throughout the day the track got worse and couldnt better 1.7's

11.34, 11.44 and 11.52 were the 3 best ET's. The trans will not shift @ high rpm into 3rd gear and i've had 2 trans do the same thing so currently one is tore apart on the bench to see what may be the root of the issue. At high rpm it either goes into 3rd gear and free revs as if the gear is non existant or it goes into the 3rd gear gate but somehow manages to use the 5th gear. You can pull it back out and reput it into 3rd gear and its fine, turns out it'll run 11.5-11.60's all day doing such... Short shifting 3rd around 6k rpm kevin netted the 11.34.

His correction factor has nothing to do w/ temp/humidity. The only purpose of the correction chart is to display roughly what it would put down on a Dynojet for those who do not understand the concept of the Dyno Dynamics and Mustang dynos.

i would have lied and said it was like 28psi, thats so not impressive or im drunk (which i am) but still, i think zac makes that on like 8-10psi? I know i made over 600whp on 12psi with a stock motor?

That is on the far extreme end of apples to oranges.... How do you even come across trying to compare a 6L w/ a 78mm to a 2L w/ a 62mm?

I am well aware of the 5 spd trans issues and honestly dont really care if it blows up, its an easy swap and the clutch will need to be replaced once i turn the boost up anyway.

Sounds like you've been doing a little to much forum reading... I like to do things from experience not from reading and will approach the issue once its in front of me.

What do you expect the final weight to be?

Not a clue. If i remember correctly it weighed in the 2140lb range stock.

Rear brake rotor, pads, and driveshaft showed up today. Had to pickup a new longblock as the last swap suffered fron thrust bearing failure which in turn salvaged that longblock. Dropped off the other motor a week ago, may possibly see it back this week, then start assembling this weekend if all goes as planned.
