when I was welding for a company in town we ussually got extra carbon steel from fargo iron and metal, but I have not dealt with them since they got bought out. also I know you can get it directly from the steel mill in MN for a decent price, but thats prolly only going to be worth it if you are buying alot, like a truck load.

Make sure whoever is installing it solders the wires (t-taps and crimp caps can lick my nuts), leaves a neat looking install behind and uses grommets to pass through firewalls as needed.
