you must of really been butt hurt by zacs other thread to make this one........good thing you can do a monkeys job!!!! whats it feel like to know that your job will be replaced by robots in three years. id like to see you weld half the shit zac does....and as i remember.......... it was YOU asking for ZACS help welding once apon a time when you kept fucking up drifterextremes mig welder.I had been welding for like 3 months at that point. And I wasn't used to stretching a lead as far as it could possibly go, etc, etc. I am not butt hurt, this thread had nothing to do with his, the title was just a little poke at him. Luke, I definitly wont be replace by a robot. With a trailer that
complicated, that would not be possible. If it was, they would have already done so...
Faber, I'm sure glad I have little magic fairies at work to set my welder for me;) -
ok now to bring some drama back into this thread....

Here is my question. I know nothing about blonde asian women, baseball, or welding. Even though Joel's welding yields some jizzum splatter, does it effect the strength of the weld? For the flange on the downpipe, would a 'non jizzum splatter' weld offer the extra NEEDED strength, or would it be ok? I ask in all seriousness, cause besides not being the most attractive, I don't see why it wouldn't do the task... Again, I am a welding noob and have utmost respect to anyone that can make a straight bead.

^From my understanding, it is more that the machine was not set up properly for the welding that it was used for. The splatter is material that could have been part of the weld. For the exhaust welding, its not a problem, I have seen MUCH worse work from local exhuast shops.

For the exhaust welding, its not a problem, I have seen MUCH worse work from local exhuast shops. It had to do with the fact that I had only 700 PSI of gas left, and I was at the end of a small spool of wire(meaning the wire comes out of the tip of the gun very unevenly.) Settings had nothing to do with it, otherwise the weld itseld would look like shit.
