                  what brand are they. is it me or does it seem like the pads are only covering 3/4's the surface they should be.

                    looks to me like the pad is covering almost the entire surface, the center just looks like it got really hot

                      I am sure they are just slotted stockers. That is the way they are designed from Ford. The brakes work good, obviously too good.
