Price does NOT include monitor, though I can get pretty much whatever you want there
-
not available yet, will be soon. Until then you can use any navigation that works with a laptop (MS Streets & Trips for example)

Find me a smartphone that is capable of datalogging
Or that will interface with your car stereo...or that is capable of storing hundreds of hours of audio... -
a better comparison would be "It does everything an in dash DVD player does, plus a whole shitload more for $250 less"
-
It's a computer running Windows XP...figured that part would tell you that so long as the datalogging software works on Windows XP, it will work on that as well. My laptop doesn't say anything about datalogging either, and it works just fine.
But since some people can't read between the lines this is a PC that:
Turns on/off with your car
Has on board bluetooth
On board WiFi that can connect in wifi hotspots
Is capable of tethering to your phone/air card via USB allowing for broadband internet service
Allows movie and audio storage on its internal HDD
48KHz 16-bit Stereo Sound - Far superior to Bluetooth Audio
Allows video playback to headrest monitors/drop down monitors/In Dash Monitors/etc... so the whole family can enjoy it
Supports games/activities that are actually fun to play for longer than 5 minutes
Is capable of supporting Outlook/Office/Etc... so that files can be viewed on a larger screen, reminders can be displayed, and contacts can be accessed easier than on a tiny little phone screen
Can be set up to sync with your blackberry/smartphone/droid/whateverAgain, it is a full blown pc, just add monitor.
If it's not your bag of chips, why come in here and comment? Do I come to your place of business and put up signs saying your products/services are pointless? I just ask the same in my online business location.
Thanks.

I'm not upset at all, I can validate virtually any purpose of this product. If I were all upset I'd delete your posts and issue a warning via the admin panel. By you asking questions it gives me a chance to rebut/clarify it's purpose.

Bump! Getting about 6 of these in in the next week or so (hopefully), will throw in a free bluetooth keyboard and mouse as well ($150 value)
-
Sounds like a good deal to me!

What kind of processing power does this have? I know I would be more apt for something like this if I knew it could play bluray files smoothly. I know my older Athlon with a geforce card struggles with HD content. There are obvious advances these days, so just kind of curious. I'd assume most people won't try anything like that either.
