I'm pretty sure the cyclone manifold is completely vacuum controlled aka no ecu required to run it. If he says its running rough, BE CAUTIOUS. I'm fairly certain I've seen this ad myself. Get the motor checked out and ditch the cyclone mani anyway.This.

He says it spits and sputters cuz the ecu is 'junk'...... What could be the real reason?Capacitors go bad in the ECU's all the time, atleast in 1G's. Save yourself the trouble, find a cheap ecu and bring it with...take it for an extended test drive, through it in there and see how she does. Check the compression and timing as well(check the belt alignment as well, as 1 tooth is enough to have issues). If you can't do all of this, spend the money and take it to a shop..DSMs are a dime a dozen and buying a shitty one is just more trouble than its worth!

Well im friends with the guy so im pretty sure i could give it the rundown and he wouldnt care.Question: So does it to be need the cyclone ecu to run that beotch or can it be any 4G63T ecu?
Cyclone is a vacuum controlled manifold, get yourself a 96 AWD ECU...

You can take out the butterflys in the manifold .
Why do you think the ECU is bad? Just because is spits and sputters means the ECU is bad? Then I guess my Evo ECU is shot!
Here you go http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf
