I don't know if I necessarily agree with you on that Joel. I used to sell Ford and the Focus has come a long ways in coming a much improved vehicle. The base prices are quite reasonable, they are holding up well, and the resale value has been much improved on the Ford product line as of late. Know I am a Honda fan, so don't get me wrong, but I think that Ford is doing a lot of good things and deserves to be compared to the ranks of cars like Honda now.

Don't get me wrong, Ford is going places! EcoBoost was one of the best programs rolled out, and their cars have really stepped it up. But Your trying to compare a focus with a civic? Quality and performance, there is no question, the Honda wins hands down. Price, ok so Ford does have great prices for the vehicles they sell, and they are making a lot of advances. But they have a long ways to go to get where honda is at...

I liked the edgy rear end on the last gen Civic a lot better. Very classy.

Right. Its a civic, and a focus. He did not say they were performance cars. He was stating his opinion on the difference in performance, between the 2 vehicles.

I understand that. The '12 focus looks sweet in the pics on the internet. Hopefully it pleases in person as well. I have a feeling there will be some really cool things about the focus that no one can match. Sync is sweet. unfortunatly it doesnt come standard, or is even available in most models of the focus. Also, unless they have done a complete 180 on interior design, the seats have miles to go to compete with honda. I will be very interested to see how they combat when they come out.

They moved the mirrors backon the door for safety. so when you look in the mirror, you are forced to turn your head to the point where there is no blind spot. and to add visibility to the a and b pillars.
