What Modern American Muscle Car would you rather have?

Mustang has the best blend of price, performance, and looks. Its not the best looker or the fastest but it does all of it so well its not even a competition.

Not that I've heard. There was a bunch of talk prior to the Coyote release that they wouldn't hold up to power because they weren't a forged motor. Instead they've shown a ton of potential.
Evolution Performance went 9.95@142 on a stock block 2011 with a whipple.
Exactly what I was going to say and add Sean Hyland sells a supercharger kit using the TVS blower like the ZR1 and makes 605hp as reliably as stock. -
The reason the mustang scared me away was that i've read there have been alot of recalls, and warranty claims on the car with very low mileage...

i'm not sure. I'd be interested to hear the ford guys chime in with a comment about the new 5.0.

I sat in one at the stealership the other day, and you really can't see much at all over your shoulders in that car. Prolly not as bad as the 1970's fastback mustangs, but still really bad.

The challenger I love the way it looks but its so overweight.

CTS-V would have been in if it's price tag wasn't almost double what the mustang is..And its not really a muscle car...

i vote none of the above. But if forced to pick one the camaro ss would be my choice. there pretty badass looking and we all know gm can make a good engine.

If I were to buy a mustang, bang for your buck I would get the V6... 300hp and 30mpg with a sweet looking car... sign me up. Out of the choice here, i've picked the Mustang 5.0. Until they come out with a v6 EcoBoost Stang!!?!?!?! I wish. The main problem with the V6 Mustangs is that its a lot of car for that engine.
305 horsepower, yes.. but their Torque numbers are tiny compared to even a mustang GT from 99-04. If I wanted a vehicle that could look nice and get my great MPG though, I agree 100%.
If I could choose, I would go Challenger. Mainly because I feel they were the ones who nailed the whole "Retro" look off the bat. Its literally a box... and thats what they were. The interior could use some more bedazzle, but the car itself looks amazing.

Definitely the camaro im more of a chevy guy rather then ford or mopar.
