I'll agree with that! I sat in one at the stealership the other day, and you really can't see much at all over your shoulders in that car. Prolly not as bad as the 1970's fastback mustangs, but still really bad.

Yup no headroom at all in that thing, I could never actually own one. The challenger I love the way it looks but its so overweight.

And it wasn't in original form? I was always under the impression those things were tanks back in the day, comparatively speaking.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

CTS-V would have been in if it's price tag wasn't almost double what the mustang is..And its not really a muscle car...

I'd have to go with a Challenger. My instructor in college had one and it was pretty much b.a. Nice riding car, and plenty of power. I may not be a GM guy, but the Camaros with the Firebird and Trans Am kits were pretty much sexy.

If I were to buy a mustang, bang for your buck I would get the V6... 300hp and 30mpg with a sweet looking car... sign me up. Out of the choice here, i've picked the Mustang 5.0. Until they come out with a v6 EcoBoost Stang!!?!?!?! I wish.

The main problem with the V6 Mustangs is that its a lot of car for that engine.

305 horsepower, yes.. but their Torque numbers are tiny compared to even a mustang GT from 99-04. If I wanted a vehicle that could look nice and get my great MPG though, I agree 100%.

If I could choose, I would go Challenger. Mainly because I feel they were the ones who nailed the whole "Retro" look off the bat. Its literally a box... and thats what they were. The interior could use some more bedazzle, but the car itself looks amazing.

the LSX is the best small block ford ever made

I got mad respect for the LSX engine. Hell, a LS1 walks on my DOHC 4.6 😞

not a muscle car, and also not in this price range. Is it so hard to just pick from the choices and NOT come up with your own off the wall idea?

I voted for the mustang. Challengers are just too big for me, and the camaros look a bit blocky. The pontiac conversions make them look better, but the mustangs in blue look awesome. I'd just as soon buy one of the V6 cars and put a procharger on it than buy a 5.0 car. Might end up costing more than a V8 car in the end but it something different.

And CTS-V's are great. They are one of the few good looking cars that are built today. CTS's stand out, its one good thing Cadillac has done sice the 70's. They dont look like all other GM cars. Besides, every single asian luxury car looks about as exciting as a blade of grass, and the germans aren't far behind. Comparing a CTS V to a mustang cant really be done. You get 50% more car, sizewise and comfort, thats why its 50% more. Its like comparing a S10 to a new Ford Raptor.

Or I can save the 40 grand and build an awesome pro touring '67 cougar or something along those lines and forget new stuff.
