    do you have a wideband for when you do tuning? and are you tunning it to the right spots? timing and A/F? and is your turbo/motor in proper condition

    PM me for:
    Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
    Diesel repairs or performance products.

      Don't know if they would help too much, but you could try investing in some iridium plugs (Denso, NGK) for better spark. They're supposed to be particularly beneficial for forced induction applications.

        Based on what you have as far as mods go (very modest), you may be able to net a high 13 sec pass at best. It may be nothing more than launch/ driving technique. Launch alone can do alot for cutting time off your e.t.

          No wideband, basically what I'm going off of (using guides from the interwebs) is logs of o2 sensor voltage and knock counts at rpms. Thats what most people use when using this setup as I understand (eeprom ecu, palm logger w/ mmcd). I do the actual editing using evilscribe with a template kind of thing for 1g dsm so I'm pretty sure I'm tuning in the right spots. The thing is though, without a wideband or dyno, just a 3rd gear pull, and with the slow sample rate of the palm, the tune ends up very rough.

                That could be it, I was unable to avoid the water box as doing so would have involved going into the median and knocking over a bunch of stuff, so I did actually get some wheel spin at the launch.

                I was launching at around 4k as I am still on a stock clutch as I haven't changed out my tranny yet for one with working 2nd gear syncros. I've got an ACT 2600 sitting in the garage tho.

                    its a high flow cat with a metal core instead of ceramic. its basically the least restrictive you can get without a test pipe.

                              If you are going to do a 2g mas, make sure you upgrade to 550s. Buy an AFC at the same time. If you dont want to spend 300 bucks on a wideband, take it to Tintmasters and have them tune it on theirs.

                                Yep, you sure can, you can also do a stutter box, take out fuel cut, reset knock counts, and actually make the range of tuning wider.

                                I have a heavily moddified ecu program waiting to go in but im scurred cuz I'm not sure if I did everything right 🙂

                                      ngk brp7es or brp6es is all you need, dont spend money on expensive plugs....

                                          Ya, I figure since I already have some experience tuning with logs on a computer I should be able to use DSMlink fairly easily. My ecu is already socketed besides. It is expensive but if you remember how many ppls afcs get stolen around here, it evens out dont you think?
