auto x!!

86 rx7
intake, full exhaust and fully gutted interior. for suspension im thinking either tein super streets or JICs of some sort. and then add as many bars to it to make it stiff as possible
P.S. i love lamp!
-
freitag roll cage? cheap and WAY more stiff then any bolt on bar you could buy
-
Is there an AWD mini-suv class in auto-x? If so, I may be purchasing a vehicle I'd run with (just for fun of course...and no, its not my Murano)
-
mmmm. depends on the size of the vehicle you would have. it would go into the stock class.
but there are some hieght, wheel base limitaions.
frietag, for the money you spend on all those interior peices you are just wasting money. stich weld the interior, and put in a cage and a front STB and call it good.

if you have a good cage there is no need for 47 connecting bars, going from all over the car to random spots. waste of money... lol
as faber has said get a stb aswell, and if you insist on a rear stb just have the person who is welding in the cage have the rear down bars go into the strut tower area and when he welds in the base plates he can add a rear bar that will connect the strut towers. way stiffer then any aftermarket bolt on stb.

Wheelbase 105.9
Height 65.3 -
Nope... I haven't bought it yet, but I'm leaning towards a Nissan Rogue, but I have a Murano already, so I may say screw it and get a Titan instead....we'll see

I got to drive a bunch of them when i worked at Nissan. I think the only trans you can get is the cvt( i could be wrong). Nissan is still having alot of the cvt's go bad. i would recommend the extended warranty.
-
You are right, it is CVT...but CVT w/ paddle shifters at least.
I've had very good luck w/ my CVT in my Murano. Beside, I very seldom ever keep a vehicle long enough to need extended warranty.

and another thread i was in i was told to keep it on topic.
did anyone read this one?
WTF?anyways
yes i want to autoX next year. just gotta see about money and such.
first love though is the 1320.Monty

It really wasn't all that off topic, I asked about classes for small SUV's, the response was made, someone commented on the vehicle and its transmission, I stated it had paddle shifters, and we are now back on topic

i hear that all the time.
BUT
to each their own.
autoX looks a blast. so i hope to give it a go this next year.

Your car is a lot closer to an autocross style car then mine and i still might try it. Who knows, my car won't be good for it but it is about fun right....
