That car is a VG. RB swaps into a z32 probably cost almost as much as that whole setup. The only downside to having a single turbo VG is having to merge the exhaust from both banks of the V-6.

WOW, that is ignorant. BTW, singles>twins (to a point, like 1000+hp). Its gonna be funny when a home-built with used parts old Z31 single turbo comes up to fargo and lays the smack down on a Z32 TT. Most of you know what im talking about. You really must have no idea.
          Gary

BTW, i have met and talked to this guy (in the link) on a couple occasions. The car is a single 63mm using N/A headers that were modified to work. As you can see, that run is on 20lbs, and i have also watched it click off a high 11@125 with traction problems.

It's my opinion and my car and if you don't like it sit on your fist. A v6 single turbo is a waste of time I don't care what power your making. I would much rather have an RB or a VG with twins. Z31 is inline six btw OMG UR so ignorant.

              ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! ZOMG!!
A z31 uses a VG30 DET, which is a v6, and uses a single t3, or single t25 turbo in the last 2 years. I know because i work on one all the time. In fact, Jason (z31 on here) has had 3 of them and i have worked on them all, and had the engine/trans out of all of them as well. Shit we can work on those things blindfolded. So dont you try and tell me what YOU think is correct, as you are illustrating your automotive intelligence quite well. There were a very limited quantity of RB Z's built in austrailia and Japan, those are called R-200s BTW.
And, you start asking anyone on here, you will get the same response that TT=teh gay until you get into an area like Bill O, making around 1000whp. You suck
              Gary

BTW, i see your in wahpeton, so if you need any further clarification, you are welcome to come see the V6 Z31 in person

What kind of Z31 have you been looking at. I would love a I6 Z31 cause they did make them like that...... In Japan. The Z31 came with a 3.0L V-6 in the US.

Explain why a single turbo v-6 is a waste of time? So you are saying a Grand National is a waste of time also?

If I were to mod a Z32. It would get a Twin Setup with two GT2871R. The reason, they are bolt in can put it to 500whp and I can get them for cheap. If started with a NA car I would do single turbo and a custom intake mani so you only needed 1 cold pipe. It would probably be cheaper as well.

Keep your singles for your dynoqueens and drag cars. I'd rather have a car with power that hits right away when I need it.

I also like how you guys bring up your friends cars like I care. I know a massive single will obviously shit out a lot of power. But IMO V6 single = teh ghey. Have fun with yours. I'll run a twin VG or a single or sequential RB any day

i bet if you guys keep at it, you'll settle a "Debate" that is as vague and open-ended as "single turbo vs twin turbo".

Keep up the good work, gentleman.

                                        ^My question is why?

Doing that kind of a setup would be a huge waste of time.

                                        PM me for:
                                        Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                                        Diesel repairs or performance products.
