ENEOS motor dyno test vs. other oils
-
We should do a motor oil test on a car sometime when Andy is in town. Just so all the speculation on everyone's part is gone. I'd really like to see for myself to ensure that what I preach is the truth! Bring a 5 quarts of regular oil, Mobil 1, ENEOS and just see?!? That would give some HP numbers, but we would have to really run the oil for awhile to see lasting effects.

It would be neat to test the oil, but it would be difficult on a wheel dyno and a turbo car as there are so many variables that + or - 10 hp could get lost. I think the way they tested the oil on the vid was probably the most repeatable and was probably accurate. It just sucks when you don't know how objective the people running the test were.

Like keeping Air temp, intake temp, and water temp....... the same.
If a test was to be done, a stock car would be the best place to try and compair numbers. It has less variables that effect the performance.
